Memorial Day for [redacted]

[Redacted]'s Date with Diversity

Season 8, episode 7--the golden age.

This post has been updated to comply with the hosting company's demand that violence not be advocated by any of its users. I'm of the opinion that was never the case, but Blogger has given me countless hours of entertainment for free, so what could it possibly owe me? If anything, I owe it!

I grew up watching The Simpsons and I always felt like Season 7 was the beginning of the end. There were some good episodes in the seventh and eighth seasons but there was a streak from 3-6 where it seemed like every episode was good. I'd buy the DVDs and listen to the commentary where they said that during those seasons they'd work 20 hour days. I can imagine that burns you out after a while so it was nice while it lasted.

Random Dude,

I understand that. I didn't really feel the decline until around season 10, though. My favorite episode of all time is Lisa the Vegetarian (season 7) and runner-up is Homer's Enemy (season 8).
