It's anybody's Game today, folks

In a post last month considering the relative influence of Steve Sailer and Roissy in presenting the realities of HBD to the general public, OneSTDV excerpted Kudzu Bob making the following comment:
Forget arguing statistics with brainwashed liberals. That's strictly for losers and chumps. If there's a better recruiting tool than "Embrace HBD and get laid," I can't think of what it might be.
There is a glaring problem here. The game phenomenon is billed as being a way to bed beautiful women. Pay attention to these lessons, take notes, practice, and you'll be able to thwart female mechanisms for assessing male desirability that have been honed over the entire course of human evolutionary history. It's akin to what blank slatists maintain regarding virtually everything else. Who you are biologically doesn't matter--with the right education, you'll be able to do anything. Alphas are made, not born.

In an unrelated post, OneSTDV agrees, at least philosophically:
Liberalism feels good because anyone can succeed. And this underpins its success; realist ideologies advocate fatalism and no one likes that.
That's an oversimplification, of course, but I fail to see how pushing the idea that education is the key to success in fornication is comparable to what Steve Sailer writes when it comes to truly comprehending HBD at work in the world. Game is great for gaining insights into what women find desirable, and in that respect the praise heaped upon it is entirely justified.

Randall Parker speaks for many HBDers in praising the game movement (which has morphed into the intellectual sphere in the last few years, but is decades old--I can remember hearing in middle school "Don't hate the player, hate the game", and the like):
Smart guys who are single virgins should be encouraged to use internet dating, PUA techniques, and anything else to hook up with the smartest women they can find and make babies.

Raising fertility of smart people should become a topic of serious discussion among HBD realists.
But my concern is that it is becoming overly idolized, as if Roissy's narrative regarding changing sexual patterns and mores (for which there is essentially no quantitative evidence, a good deal of data suggesting that things have changed little over the last several decades and that, if anything, it is "betas" who are doing more than their fair share of the procreating) is beyond question. To claim that one is an alpha and those who discover holes in and consequently challenge the game narrative are bitter betas of lower social value who should be disregarded would elsewhere be recognized as a typical leftist smear tactic.

Haha, I'm glad you inserted that disclaimer. In the same manner, college engineering classes won't increase your general intelligence but they will give you knowledge and experience that can be used to convert the intelligence you do have into an income and productivity for society.

Anyone who lobs this ad hominem at you for challenging the game narrative is clearly off their rocker, assuming the posts about your personal life are true. I would actually expect the smear label of "beta" to be more likely to be applied to one who believes in the game narrative since they have incentive as the victims of the story to promote it, but as one of the GNXP surveys showed, male virgins are more likely to hold negative opinions of the game movement.

I'm not sure there is any point in encouraging smart people to have babies at this point. It would take about 20 years to see any benefits.

In a few years, personal genomes will be affordable and the genes for IQ will be identifiable. I think analyzing Ashkenazi genes in particular will be useful because we should be able to identify genes which have been under recent selection. Gene therapy can take care of the rest. The only question is if people will have the will to use these technologies. As long as it is legal, the HBD folks will be able to use it to have ultra smart kids.

The "Embrace HBD and get laid" comment is sub-moronic. HBD isn't going to get anybody laid.

Also, human genetic engineering isn't going to happen any time soon.

Jokah,

Undoubtedly Roissy has great insights into the minds of a certain subset of women. And when pressed, he tends to hedge his bets about how helpful game will be at the individual level.

Re: myself, I try to curtail my social instincts because I tend to be, in my mind, too self-confident. I've been called cocky on several occasions, and it's been delivered with annoyance and disdain, not lustful playfulness. I'm aware that this personal trait could be coloring my perception of game, but everybody has their biases.

Re: victimology, being perceived as a male victim of sexual frustration (I'm not sure this is synonymous with beta in game parlance, but I assume there is overlap) does not bring one any sympathy, only disdain. And expressing belief boosts social status.

ROTFLMAO. Newsflash: none of these things is going to happen in a few years. Nor in a decade or so. And it is entirely possible that most of these things will never happen at all.

This game business is pathetically peurile. What a bunch of emotionally retarded masturbators.

Radical feminism has produced boys who are so absorbed with their own privates that they come up with video-gaming lifestyles to prove to others what heartless, unfeeling, unreliable, non-reproducing "alphas" they are. Most of these barbarians may never grow into real men. It's crazy in the extreme.

A real man marries and has children and keeps his family healthy and happy, and invests heavily in his future through his progeny.

STD rates are going up. Something is going on.

In any event, game was born out of the generation of the 90s. Data showing that little has changed for 20 years isn't that convincing when 1990 was 20 years ago.

NAM's are increasing as a percentage of the young sexually active population. Whites and Asians have very low rates. So, for example an increase in the overall percentage of NAM's aged 15-40 of 5% will render a 10-20% increase in the rate.
